CHE COS'E' QUESTO BLOG?/WHAT IS THIS BLOG ABOUT?
Negli ultimi anni mi è capitato sempre più spesso che, amici e colleghi ma anche persone che semplicemente vedevamo i miei lavori sul web, mi chiedessero consigli e informazioni sul disegno o sul mio lavoro.
L'idea del blog nasce quindi dal desiderio di condividere la mia passione per il disegno, l'illustrazione e la mia esperienza personale con quanti sono interessati a questo tema. Il blog non vuole quindi essere un corso o una scuola nè tantomeno fornire un metodo ultimo ed assoluto per realizzare illustrazioni o immagini, l'obiettivo è piuttosto quello di fare il punto su metodi e tecniche ampiamente conosciuti e diffusi, mostrare come li ho rivisti e reinterpretati attraverso la mia personale esperienza, svelare i "trucchi" e le metodologie che ho appreso e sviluppato per realizzare concept, sketch ed illustrazioni professionali.
Il blog è uno spazio aperto alle idee, ai suggerimenti delle persone che vorranno seguirlo!
E' pensato su tre livelli perchè sia possibile seguire i post del proprio livello ed eventualmente dare un'occhiata anche agli altri!Insomma l'idea sarebbe di un blog di disegno self service ...... prendi quello che ti va e goditelo!
I post di disegno inizieranno ufficialmente con l'anno nuovo, ho pensato infatti che uno start up nel 2010 fosse di buon auspicio....oltre a darmi il tempo di organizzare il materiale!!

In the last few years I’ve often been asked suggestions and information about drawing by friends, colleagues or people who had bumped into my artwork on the web. So the inspiration for this blog comes from the need to share my passion for drawing,illustration and my personal experience with those who are interested in this subject. The blog does not propose itself as an alternative to a good course or an art school, nor does it expect to provide a definitive and ultimate "right way" to produce illustrations or images.
It's a place to write down established methods, techniques and approaches that I have reworked and reinterpreted through my personal experience, a showcase of tips and tricks that I have learnt and developed to create concept art, sketches and professional illustrations.
The blog is an open space , and I’ll be glad to read people's comments and suggestions!
It is organized in three skill levels, to make it easier to browse while at the same time giving you the chance of "skipping forward" if you feel like it. A self-service drawing blog, take what you need and enjoy it!
Posts about drawing will start to appear with the new year, as I think a brand new start in 2010 will bring us good luck...and give me more time to put my stuff together!
